Introduction
Troides aeacus known as Golden Bridwing, it is generally large, with wingspan around 95-160mm, can be found from April to November in Fung Yuen, Tai Po Kau, Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden.
Because of urbanization and human activities, this specie is facing habitat loss.

Apperance
There is a sexual dimorphism in this species. Compared with male, female have larger black spots in abdomen, two layers of black patches can be found along edge of the hindwing.

Behaviour
Caterpillars of Troides aeacus host Aristolochia tagala and Aristolochia fordiana, while adults feed on nectar.
