Riodinidae butterflies are small, with wingspan from 30-50mm. Males of Riodinidae with front leg degenerated while female with three pairs of legs. The upperside and underside of wings are mainly brown, have similar pattern, but hindwings have waved termen or wing tails. Riodinidae always rest on leaf with wings placed in “V” position and turn around to observe surroundings.
