According to data from Hong Kong Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), around 250 butterfly species are recorded in Hong Kong, which include six families of butterfly.
For status, most of them are rare species.
Only a few part of them have genome data so far and around one third genome are chromosome level.
