
Introduction
Eurema hecabe, the Common Grass Yellow, is widely distributed in Asia, Africa and Australia, visible all year round in wetland park. The caterpillar of Eurema hecabe is green, long and cylindrical and the wingspan of adults is around 45-50mm.
Apperance
Male and female look similar. Slightly different colors in different seasons.
Behaviour
The larvea of Common Grass Yellow host Senna surattensis, Senna tora, Cratoxylum cochinchinense. Adults feed on nectar.
